Indigenous Arcade – In Person

June 21, 2023 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

This summer, we’re reimagining the arcade by turning papa holua, huli and more into game controllers using switches and circuit boards and generating rich multiplayer gaming concepts with AI.

Weʻll also learn more about traditional Hawaiian games by playing kōnane and exploring kālai lāʻau, Hawaiian wood carving. Haumāna will craft their own Kōnane board and take a huakaʻi to the wood shop at Windward Community College.
